The Visionary –
This stand gets quite high, offering great ergonomics even for tall people. Hinges are robust and the stand is clearly built to last, unlike cheaper alternatives Iâve tried in the past. It holds up perfectly under the weight of a laptop, with absolutely no flexing. The stand doesnât wobble or slide much if the table shakes or moves slightly. The metal surface texture and color look premium and feel nice to the touch. The textile surface where the laptop rests is gentle and prevents scratches. The stand is stylish and looks good on the table.The only downside is the packaging. Itâs fairly low-quality and minimalistic, with the stand being protected only by the outer box. For a premium product, I expected better.

FYI: the base (where the stand sits on your desk) is 20 x 20 cm.This thing is built like a tank, and easily over a kilo in weight. The fit and finish is excellent, and thereâs enough adjustability to get the angle right on most desk set ups.For whatever reason they donât list the dimensions of the base; which is a lot smaller than the top where your laptop sits. This was pretty essential for me to judge whether I can fit it in my desk. Itâs 20 cm x 20 cm.Itâs very hard to adjust, requiring a lot of force. This means you have to take your laptop off to adjust it, which isnât ideal, but it does provide a very strong platform. People that have accessibility issues might struggle to adjust this comfortably.Thereâs a rubberised lip on the bottom edge of the laptop tray that keeps your laptop in place. This does make closing the screen an issue on my MacBooks, so youâll need to move it up slightly as you do so.Itâs on the pricier side, but itâs definitely a big step up in quality and stability; Iâm confident I could knock something into this on my desk and it wouldnât budge.I got the sandstone colour which is nice and inoffensive, but wish they offered an aluminium finish to fit in with my set up a bit better.
