Premium 2.0 Type-C Speakers. With Great Clarity for 2.3K
The Best of Everything. Don’t Buy Cheap 5.1 For Your Laptops or PC. The Fact is Laptop doesn’t support True 5.1 Audio. Very Little amount of 5.1 Content Available in Online. Don’t be a Dumb. 2.0 is always Better. It’s has USB Type-C Port. V2 Better is better than Previous One. Build Quality is Top Notch. Bass is at its best. ( Not Dumb Heavy liked by Noobs) For Gaming and Music Production it is Bang for Bucks. Got it at 2.3K in Sale. Original price is 2.6K. Don’t Judge by it’s Size. First I thought it will not be Loud. But it fills my Room with Great Audio. Clarity is Excellent. This better than F&D or Any 2.0 with Dedicated Sub-Woofer. Don’t go for Sub woofer model. It will spoil the Treble and Vocals. Creative has Done a Great Job Here. This should be around 8k worth. But the Fact is it’s just 2.3k !!!

Good enough for its intended use case
I believe this pair of speakers has a limited spectrum of usage in which they serve their purpose. My use case is a pair which can be used as a desktop speaker just loud enough for 2 or so feet and good enough for watching TV shows, sports or movies where superior sound is not a priority (just enough volume to hear the dialogue w/o disturbing the whole house.) And, this pair fits the bill perfectly. My main setup for music is KEF R series floorstander & a pair of DT770 cans (both driven by great amps and DAC), just to illustrate I’ve something that’s actually good to provide a comparison. You’re not going to get good music out of a $30ish speaker. Period. Now, there’s a lot of snake oil business in the “audiophile” circles, but you do have to spend a decent, not obscene, amount to get good sounding equipment. Having tried speakers in many price range, I can say that desktop speakers like this are never intended for serious music listening purpose. They’re either designed for portability or for the case I pointed above. Unfortunately, in India, not only are our options for good stuff limited but also expensive, as they’re often imported. If you want a compromise, try studio monitors like JBL 305 (I’ve personally used them) and above. While they’re strictly for monitoring purposes, they serve as a bloody good option for stereo music and to some extent movies (you might benefit from a center channel.) If you’re strapped for budget, you can get something like Mackies but they seem to have a short life period (mine died after 2 years of undisturbed usage). Just my two cents. Some observations:1. Though there is a v3 (wasn’t available in India at the time of purchase) which uses a usb-c for power and data transmission, I actually preferred this so as to not introduce a new component in my already crowded USB ecosystem.2. It’s recommended to use a 10w supply (I’m sure thunderbolt 3 supplies 15w out of certain ports) and I just used an old mobile adapter just for that purpose. Apparently this is to get the maximum wattage, especially from the hi gain mode, which I didn’t notice.

Small size Big Sound
I wanted a 2 channel stereo system for the desktop, the sound is loud for the size. For general music/ Netflix, in my personal opinion – do not use the Gain control. i felt the sound got distorted. It is pretty loud even without the gain. The audio cracks / distorts at higher bass songs (Havana-Camilla/give it to me-Madonna/ban ja rani). In the computer sound setting,Enhancements, enable low frequency protection and set cut off limit to at least 70Hz. (i read in other amazon review that these speakers are rated at low100Hz on wards)These speakers are absolute value for money. The first choice was the Bose companion 2-III series which were not available in Bangalore, either online OR at the Bose store OR the other brick and mortar stores.

Great speakers but volume is low.

The best audio in the price range.
I have used some premium quality speakers like harman kardon sounsdsticks 3 which are known for their amazing and loud sound quality…… but since i relocated i was looking for something cheap would fill the gap until i get my soundsticks back … after doing some research i bought the pebble v2 version and damn i gotta say i am impressed….. these small form factor Speakers have a really good audio fidelity…. highs, lows, trebble… all so good. I could hear every instrument clearly. I have a 14ft x 10ft big room and have my laptop setup at the corner…. and have never even tried to go above 50% of max volume with these on….. its so damn loud. They get even louder turning on the high gain switch (noticeable difference). The bass is also good…just the perfect amount….. You can feel the thump from the desk. Oh man when it comes to sound quality i don’t think it can be beaten specially at this price range or even if you go a bit higher. I also really love the design of these. One thing which i am just mentioning for all those who are reading my review is to be wary of the cable management. It should have involved aux in usb C itself. Also if they were bluetooth then they would have been unbeatable in every aspect.( you can convert them into bluetooth with a usb aux bluetooth receiver).I don’t usually write reviews but they have made me so happy that i wanted to share my experience with you guys. I love them so much. Best purchase decision. You should also go for them. Cheers!!!

I wanted better speakers and needed something small and compact as my current desk isn’t very large. The compact stereo (not 2.1) speaker category seemed dominated by absolutely cheap crappy no-name Chinese speakers, then I stumbled across the V1 Creative Pebble. I’ve been a Creative fan (mostly) for literally decades now and I saw almost all of the reviews were glowing. But I was put off by the design and USB-powered aspect. I wanted traditional square speakers, and the Pebbles just looked weird. And I know we have more powerful USB ports these days, but I’m so used to anything sound-related powered by USB being weak and anemic, and bass? Haha, no. The low price point also made me skeptical. I wondered if they were truly good or if the people leaving reviews were just so used to crappy speakers these seemed like a massive improvement in comparison. But I kept coming back and thinking about it. Then I saw there were upgraded versions, and they too had glowing reviews. Finally I decided I’d take a chance. I went with the next-to-newest version, the even more improved V3 with the RGB ring at the base because that looked cool but not overly flashy. Unfortunately when I got them I realized they are, in fact, not black or dark grey as they appear in the listing but rather DARK FOREST GREEN. WHY, Creative, why?! Why offer a product like that in only one awful, non-traditional color? Peripherals sporting RGB lighting are almost always marketed towards games. I don’t know a single gamer who would find speakers of that color complimentary to any of their other hardware. I mean I could see neon green or neon red, while also non-traditional colors, being more appropriate to a gamer aesthetic than dark forest green. It might seem silly to some, but I was not going to pay that price for ugly speakers. So back they went.I decided I’d try the V2 Pebbles. Lesser specs and no RGB, but the price was much cheaper. I was still skeptical about the USB powered nature, however. After I got them in I realized they were larger than I thought they were but that’s okay, they still fit fine and are much smaller than my previous speakers. I had to use the USB C-to-A adaptor that’s included with them, and plugged them into a USB 2.0 port that had a higher power output for charging phones, so it enabled high gain mode. And I was really surprised. The reviews do do them justice. They do sound really good, and they do have decent bass. Are they better than larger, higher-end speakers? Absolutely not. Are they outstanding for their size, and especially their cost? Absolutely. I do wish they have a headphone jack on the front, though. The only other quibble I have, and it’s a minor one at that, is the driver color. There’s nothing wrong with it but I would’ve preferred black or even silver versus gold. But like I said, it’s a minor quibble. In short if you want cheap, decent, compact speakers you can’t go wrong here. I’m thinking about ordering a second pair for my kitchen TV that could use louder speakers.

The Creative Labs Pebble V2 speakers have completely exceeded my expectations! As a music enthusiast and someone who values both quality and aesthetics, these speakers have become an essential part of my setup.Firstly, the design is sleek and modern, perfectly complementing any workspace or entertainment area. Their compact size makes them ideal for smaller desks, yet they deliver sound that rivals much larger speakers.Setting them up was a breeze – simply plug and play, no fuss or complicated instructions needed. Despite their size, the sound quality is exceptional. The clarity and depth of the audio are truly impressive, whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or gaming. One feature that stands out is the built-in passive radiators, which enhance the bass response without sacrificing clarity in the mid and high frequencies. The result is a rich, immersive sound experience that belies the speakers’ compact size.Additionally, I appreciate the thoughtful design details, such as the front-facing volume control knob, which allows for easy adjustments without having to reach around to the back of the speaker.Overall, I can’t recommend the Creative Labs Pebble V2 speakers highly enough. They offer outstanding sound quality, a stylish design, and hassle-free setup, all at an incredibly affordable price point. Whether you’re a music lover, gamer, or movie enthusiast, these speakers are a must-have addition to any setup.
