It is said that the first thing a good cook needs is a good knife, so I appreciate having a good sharpener at home. I have used lots of manual sharpeners: steels, whetstones, and others. All work to a certain degree. Some had a great edge after one sharpening. Others, as the directions state, have taken several sharpening’s. They have included everything from paring and utility knives to chef’s knives, slicers, and cleavers.

There’s not a lot to say about measuring spoons normally, but these are great. Good quality and well made. Surprisingly heavy and seem built to last. They are the perfect size for getting inside those little jars of spices where the round spoons just don’t fit.Have had these for quite a while now and they still look as good as new.I doubt you’ll regret buying these. Highly recommended.

Iâm not a great cook, but am happily satisfied with this concept of spoons designed to fit into spice bottles. Regular measuring spoons are kind of tile those old, narrow neck glass catsup bottles; an iconic shape but really, who thought that was a good idea? These spoons are made to aid spice delivery, not make it harder. These have deep, narrow bowls. And can navigate small, round spice jars (although the tbsp size is going to be an issue due to, well, laws of physics). The bonus is that these are so well made. A sturdy stainless steel, embossed on the top and bottom of the handle and connected with a stay connected ring that has to be opened to remove a spoon (not one of those spiral rings of cheap plastic. They are the best made measuring spoons in our kitchen and will likely end up the only ones. We gave them as âfavorite thingsâ gifts for the holidays and really do make a great stocking stuffer because the packaging is great, the concept is a no-brainer and the product is so well made.
