I will not prefer this
The construction is solid, but it falls short in durability. The clip attached to the table connects to a rod using glue. The more you turn the whole setup, the weaker the glue becomes, causing it to rotate without restraint. I’ve received two replacements, and both had the same problem.

Quality is great. Material use is good! But no accessories included. Only mount itself.

Be sure to keep the mini hex wrench tool. Tape it to the bar or something. Most typical hex wrench wouldn’t fit under the ball head. Not enough clearance. Important to lock the segment to prevent rotation.Construction is sturdy, solid and good quality. No rough edges, flex ,rattling or shoddy imperfections. The levers to tighten each segment was smooth and held firmly without slipping.LS08 is the base with 3 segment. Had to purchase LS06 for two extra extension to position as bed side tablet holder. It is rated to hold 1kg in the horizontal angle at 1 segment length. Do use some logic/physics as 1kg hanging horizontal by more than 1 segment creates more leverage. Hence that 1kg is actually more. Should work well for mic, webcam or small cameras. My Sony A7RV with lens was too heavy to be held up safely.

Update: After reviewing this item the company reached out to me in order to see what they could do to help make things better. They offered me a refund for the stand, however, I have since found another use for the stand, to hold my phone or tablet up off my workbench while I work in my shop. I will put on videos or a movie while building or repairing things. Nothing makes a long sanding session go by like binge watching The Golden Girls. Long story short, customer service is hard to find these days, but this vender was very polite and attentive. The care they have about my satisfaction is refreshing. I would do business with them again without reservations. In fact, on payday, Iâm likely to try another of their stands that looks like a better option for me anyway.Original post: The concept is great and the joints are easy to manipulate. I really want to like this mount, and mostly do, but the thing is bouncy and difficult to set an exact angle or position.I got it to mount my DSLR in a perpendicular angle to my light table to digitally scan slides and negatives. When I set an angle the camera settles every time and I lose perpendicular. As I focus, the weight and pressure shifts the mount even further out of alignment. In order to work I have to set up with the camera a little higher than it should be and let it settle in place. I do this over and over until the camera finally settles in at the right angle. Then I have to fire the shutter with a remote control because even with a delay setting the camera is still bouncing by the time the shutter fires. In fact, the shutter and mirror movement on my Nikon D7100 is enough to cause the arm to bounce. I will use this to do some Timelapse work where I donât want to put a tripod in the way. I will continue searching for a reasonable cost mount for digital scanning.

I am not sure how to fix my phone to the arm. Any guidance as I can see there is a part missing.
