They will come apart anytime and if your adapter is out of warranty Anker will not repair even if you are willing to pay for it.

These are quite nice to use. I’m using these with my M1 MBP and have ordered a USB-C mouse and pen-drives. I’ll still keep these for all my clients who have USB 3 pen drives and external drives. These are small, light and handy.
