The product is very useful for old laptops which do not have the 5ghz band and bluetooth.The device is precise and provides the maximum spped of the plan of wifi.only one thing needs to be kept in mind that it is not plug and play driver needs to be downloaded for its working as per the windows configuration.

WLAN works at 5G, BT works as well
In my previous review I mentioned that the WLAN does not work. So I ordered a replacement.Turns out the previous hardware was faulty and now everything works great!The screenshots (first 2 only) attached are for the previous hardware and not the replacement.5 Stars this time. Kudos tp-link.Past Review: This adapter does not enable any WLAN, even after installing drivers from the provided CD, as well from the internet.This is useless for you if your laptop/desktop built in adapter does not have 5G capabilities and you want to connect to 5G WiFi.No matter what you do – you cannot even have Windows detect the WiFi adapter part of it and shows as ‘Digital signature missing, error 52).PS: I am a technical person and I was in hardware support for a world leader in laptops, so I know what I’m saying here.

Absolute Disappointment with TP-Link AC600 WiFi Adapter – Abysmal Performance
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the TP-Link AC600 WiFi + BT 4.2 dongle I recently purchased. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster.The strength of the connection is abysmal.The connection itself is unstable and unreliable.The response time is utterly unacceptable.Allow me to elaborate. For the past three years, my laptop’s WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities have been non-functional, leading me to purchase a TP-Link High Gain 150 Mbps dongle 3 years ago. Till today I was using my old TP link Dongle 150 Mbps. Despite its 2.4 GHz frequency and 150 Mbps maximum capacity, it reliably provided me with speeds of 30 – 40 Mbps from my router to my room.I am using an Airtel Extreme router with a package of 200 Mbps on both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. The router is positioned just outside my room, with only one wall separating it from my laptop.While I had been compromising with the 30 – 40 Mbps (sometimes more) speed using the old TP-Link 150 Mbps dongle, I decided to upgrade to the TP-Link AC600 WiFi + BT 4.2 dongle. I ordered it from Amazon Prime, anticipating a significant improvement. However, upon receiving and testing it, I was shocked and disappointed to find that the speed was a mere 4 – 8 Mbps. This is unacceptable. My old dongle still manages to deliver 30-40 Mbps consistently.TP-Link has severely let me down this time. I have meticulously checked the drivers provided on the disk, yet the results remain the same. Window 10 – Network properties confirm a 5 GHz connection, but the speed is a dismal 2-3 Mbps.This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I expected a significant upgrade, not a downgrade. This experience has eroded my confidence in TP-Link products.I really want to return this immediately and want a complete refund.

Needs an update
Its a great product but its time for an update to Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5 and USB 3 (type c?). It would be nice if they get rid of the annoying blinking light as well while they’re at it.

Ho acquistato questo adattatore WiFi e Bluetooth per collegare il PC al WiFi e al Joystick e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. L’installazione è stata immediata: basta collegarlo alla porta USB e funziona subito, senza bisogno di driver aggiuntivi.La connessione WiFi è estremamente stabile, senza interruzioni o cali di segnale, perfetta per navigare, scaricare e giocare online. Anche la connessione Bluetooth per il joystick è stata semplice e affidabile, senza problemi di latenza o disconnessioni durante le sessioni di gioco.Il design compatto dell’adattatore è un grande vantaggio: è così piccolo che posso lasciarlo collegato al PC senza che dia fastidio, ideale anche per l’uso con un portatile.In sintesi, questo adattatore è un ottimo: facile da usare, con una connessione stabile e un design pratico. Consigliatissimo!

Utilisateur de Linux Mint, je n’ai pas trouvé les pilotes de ce T2UB sur le site de Tp-Link, fabricant de ce dongle Wi-Fi.Contacté, le service client de Tp-link m’a même répondu que ce modèle n’est pas compatible Linux…Avis aux utilisateurs : les pilotes pour le modèle T2U (et non pas T2UB) sont parfaitement opérationnels !Le débit est bon et le signal suffisamment fort à environ 4 m de la box.Bref, sous Linux Mint : ça fonctionne très bien !
