Expensive but good product
Product was pricier than most but very easy to setup and working well after 2 weeks of using it. Gives option for 5hz network as well which is nice even tho we do not have dual band.I Put extender in bedroom as wifi was not reaching there and now new signal is working great. Zoom calls working perfect, movie, streaming, gaming, all without lag.Would recommend for sure ð

Very powerful. Its actually a super device.
It brings 100 mbps speed of 5g to the same place where no 5g signal were recieved. It actually works for dead zone. Very powerful.But i have seen little decrease in uploading speed after some time use. But still it is the best.Range is perfect. Better to unplug when not in use to give it rest. It works 8 hours continuously. May be more.

Pretty solid (for my connection)
I have a 100 Mbps connection, and with the help of this WiFi extender from tpLink. I am able to receive a full 100 Mbps speed downstairs. Given the price, I rate this a 4.5/5 for cost, effectiveness, and minimal space it requires. Setup was pretty intuitive with the âTetherâ app. There is a plethora of adjustable options such as on times or switching the lights off during the night time. I donât know exactly about connections over 100+Mbps, but for my use case, it is perfect. Coverage is exceptional given the price. (Bonus: it has onemesh for select routers and LAN port to connect wired devices)On the contrary, some negative aspects are- Overheats (Consider scheduling off times in the app or turn it off when youâre not home)- Not latest wireless technology (As Iâve seen wireless AX routers for the same price, I wouldâve expected a WiFi extender for this price point to be atleast entry level AX technology)TL;DR: Buy this if you want to extend the coverage of your wireless signal, at a price which does not break the bank. Buy thisRating: 4.5/5 (rounded to 5), definitely would recommend!

A quick fix for WiFi range issue and it works
I have a range issue in the second floor as the main modem/WiFi router is installed in the first floor. This solved the issue practically but here is what you need to know if you haven’t tried such solution yet:1. It’s amazingly easy to set up.2. It can work either as an extender or as an access point.3. Here is the caveat: if you deploy this as an extender, don’t expect that you can get the same SSID as the router. The extender will as _EXT suffix to the original SSID. This is not a great problem BUT you will need to setup all your devices for a new “access point” because of this change (added extension). Also, they have documented that if they are using this extender along with TP Link’s mesh router, it will be the same SSID all around and devices will latch to the strongest node seamlessly.4. It comes with Indian-type three-pin plug (this is bought in India) integral to the extender body. This is a convenient design but I expected a DC power input as well. Unfortunately it doesn’t have one. So it is not possible to power it from a router UPS (inexpensive solution to power such a device). In my case the main router is UPS powered and so if there is a power outage, extender will become unavailable even when there is connectivity and the main router is running.5. Signal strength or range was not specified in any documentation and I would give only 4/5 stars for this. As I get only 2-3 bars in the strength indicator, across a wall while I see the main router signal from the floor below is stronger. It may be designed so, for a mesh network and it may be adequate for that.Overall I would recommend this to extend WiFi range because of setting up was simple and it really works.

It does it’s job ,it gets slightly heated
Even if the connection between router and extender is very-very poor(red light)I can watch YouTube video at at Auto mode without hindrance after connecting my laptop with 5ghz network of EXTENDER wirelessly,without using extender I can’t even browse on google and load a page connecting direct to router network,And using eathernet cable does not increase the internet speed compared to wireless 5ghz network…I think because of poor connection(red light ) between router and extender,I have watched YouTube videoes when connection is good (green light) then using eathernet cable increase internet speed more then 5ghz network,over all it does it’s jobyes,it gets slightly heated after using so I don’t know how long it will work fine,some people have mentioned in review that it stopped working after 1 year .I power off it after using for some hours to get it normal

Identifica e amplifica 2.4GHz e 5GHz!Super recomendo o produto! Uso para cloud gaming e funciona muito bem!Para quem tiver moden de operadora(vivo, oi, net/claro, etc), não esquece de verificar em qual canal a sua faixa de frequência de 2.4GHz e 5.GHz está operando (geralmente é 48. mude para 44 se puder) pq se não ele não identifica o Wi-Fi e não consegue conectar ao Wi-Fi. Tem vÃdeo no YouTube de como configurar bem certinho!Enfim, ótima aquisição e investimento!Obs: Se sua velocidade for 1Gb ou mais, o moldem que vc tem provavelmente usa um protocolo diferente de transmissão (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 e não Wi-Fi 5). Não tem nada haver com a frequência 2.4GHz e 5GHz. Se for o caso, vc vai precisar de outro modelo. Re605X por exemplo ou um que suporte Wi-Fi 6 e etc.
