My monitor has a weird port placement and was unable to use my streaming stick.This can also be used in wall mounted TVs where the HDMI ports become inaccessibleThe initial piece I got didn’t work at all. Tried with my streaming stick and laptop.Amazon replaced the faulty one and now its working fine.As other reviews mentioned, the female end of the extension is bit stiff to insertTried 1080p content with both laptop and Roku, and seems to be working.
