very happy with the purchase, only wish they were softer
The rating from my side is actually 4.5 not 4, not 5. the only reason for deduction of 0.5 stars is that the cushion on the earpads is stiffer or harder than the original ones. rest everything is excellent. idk if the earpads will get any softer with use or time but i really hope they do. the build quality is really nice & initially i felt that they are a bit difficult to put over the earcups, with patience it turned out to be fine & i didn’t end up tearing the borders or anything. the stitching & finish of the product is very nice, no complaints with that. they fit very nicely on the earcups & also there is no drop in quality of the sound or leakage of sound of any sort as compared to the original ones that came with the xb-900n. also i am extremely happy that i got these in the exact same color of the original ones, having to go with the black ones might have made the headphones look like counterfeit or duplicate product. very happy with the overall purchase which is helping me extend the life of my beloved set of bass focused headphones.

Comfortable and satisfied
The comfort and fit n finish. It is much more comfortable then the stock one which came with my Sony wch710n.At first I was worried to spend on this replacement it was quite costlier then other one present in market, but now as I’m using it I must say I’ve got a great deal

Decent pair of earpads, but with some drawbacks (read more below)
I’ve been using the SOULWIT Cooling Gel Earpads on my Sony WH-CH720Ns for over three weeks, and there are three important things to consider before purchasing these earpads. (This comparison is based on the stock earpads that come pre-installed with Sony headphones.)Before diving into the 3 points, I’d like to address the cooling gel feature. The cooling gel actually works—it cools the skin that comes in contact with the earcups. However, the cooling effect fades within 5–10 minutes. To restore the cooling effect, you need to remove the headphones and leave them idle for some time (though I haven’t figured out exactly how long). After using them for three weeks, I no longer notice the cooling effect, which could mean either the effect has faded away or I’ve simply gotten used to it. The earpads come with a water dropper tube to enhance cooling, but I haven’t tried it (and won’t, for obvious smelly reasons).With that out of the way, here are the three most important points:Comfort: These earpads are not bad in terms of comfort but not as good as the stock earpads. If you wear glasses, you might experience discomfort during long sessions. The temple tips/arms of your glasses may press lightly into your skin, causing pain after long period of use—something I never experienced with the stock earpads. For me, a “long duration” is anything over 2–3 hours. However, for short durations, these earpads provide sufficient comfort.Durability: The durability of these earpads is their standout feature. They can survive almost any situation where you’d use your headphones—at the gym, airport, on a plane, or even in harsh conditions like a desert sandstorm (though your headphones might not survive in a sandstorm, these earpads will). I recommend using a hard protective case if you’re storing your headphones in a backpack to prevent the earpads’ stitching from coming loose (a problem I faced with the stock earpads, which led me to buy these). Overall, these are more durable than the stock earpads.Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): If you are a heavy ANC user, these earpads are not for you. Don’t bother looking for more reviews—just skip these and search for earpads with at least faux leather (the material used in Sony’s stock earpads, I did my research, after purchasing these earpads unfortunately). These earpads undermine the purpose of ANC. Despite the seller’s claim that the foam provides noise isolation, you won’t notice much difference between ANC being on or off. The lack of leather material is the probable reason for this, as leather significantly improves noise isolation increasing the noise cancellation effect.In conclusion, if you don’t wear glasses, don’t use your headphones for long durations, and aren’t a heavy ANC user, these earpads might be suitable for you. Otherwise, it’s best to explore other alternatives.
