Itâs perfect and works as expected! The only drawback is it doesnât function that well with a different c type cable( I tried my MacBookâs cable), you have to use the one that came with it for a stable and optimal connection. If youâre using a Mac, you would need to format it to exFAT because itâs programmed to NTFS and get yourself a USB-C to USB adapter from apple.

Best SSD in this price range.
This is the best SSD considering the price got it for 3300/- 512gb and it’s perfect for the price. Read and write speed are as advertised mine was 548MB/s read and 507MB/s write(testedwith sdd capacity at 40%). The included type c to c cable gives you instant connection across modern smartphones too. Outer shell is made of aluminium which feels great build quality is also very good I say it’s the best out there in terms of build quality.You can easily go for it ð.

Initially I was not sure about the brand SP Silicon Power but after watching the reviews of this SSD on youtube, I decided to purchase it. It has a well built and sturdy metallic case which makes it robust and durable. Data transfer speed is average and serves the purpose.Size is a bit less than the standard passport. Also compatible with my Android Asus ROG phone.Overall nice product from the American brand SP ( Taiwan made)

SSD failing after a few days
Used this to setup NAS, the data was backed up fine. Unfortunately soon as I freed up the drive I backed up the data from – this drive stated failing. It doesn’t stay connected for more than 5 minutes and as a result I am unable to retrieve data that was backed up to this drive.Bought this in Oct’23, still trying to retrieve my data in Mar’24.

Worked perfectly on my M2 Macbook Air (formatted to Mac file system). I didn’t measure performance, but it seems quite fast when doing big disk-to-disk backup copying. I have noticed that it runs quite warm, even when idling, so I won’t leave it connected once backups are completed. My Samsung T9 is completely cool even when used all the time for photo work. I would tentatively not recommend this for always-on use cases. I like the form factor, but it isn’t padded in any way, so perhaps not the best for highly portable use.
