Good, but could be better
Works quite well. Only problem is that its receiver sometimes slips off the hook, when mounted on the wall

Best landline instrument
Panasonic landline phones are always the best . This model is also great .. Good sound quality, speakerphone, soft-feel buttons and a solid build are all good features for this price .. Only complaint is that the font in caller ID display is too small. A little bigger font would have given it a 5 star ..

… who is a senior citizen and one who finds comfortable using landline phones to make calls
I bought this phone for my mother who is a senior citizen and one who finds comfortable using landline phones to make calls. So it meets my needs: high ringing volume, caller ID support, missed call indication and call log memory. With no battery required, it was an added plusInitially I did go through lots of models and reviews. I was sure not to go for cordless phones after coming to know about the harm due to the radiation it emits. Then I was very much impressed about the design of Gigaset, but after checking with their support team I came to know it’s not recommended for home usage because of low ringing volume (in fact they are intended for office environment). Similarly with higher models of Panasonic. Therefore I finalized this model. But I was skeptical regarding the design of the phone (based on the photo displayed here and also in Panasonic website) because I am one person who factors this criteria very much. Surprisingly it didn’t disappoint me and indeed it looks good and sleek (than what you see here). As a suggestion to Panasonic (in this model)… there can be an address book facility for at least 20 contacts. By this way, we need not dial the numbers every time or pick from the dialed list. I think technologically it would be possible to have such a storage option (like a SIM card in mobile phones) that doesn’t need batteries to make it work. That said, the problem with the seller is, they haven’t written my name and address in the warranty card. When I checked with the local service center, they told me they won’t consider warranties of online purchases. So if at all any problem arises, they asked me to come through Panasonic for which I have to contact Amazon.

no satisfied with the phone.
no satisfied with the phone. The phone set is sturdy and robust. No problem with sound quality. But the following problems: 1. difficult to read incoming number on the screen because screen is flat and small. You have to ogle in the screen so that u may see the incoming number. 2. The volume of speaker in the receiver is very high and piercing the ears if you hold close. The set does not have any button to reduce this speaker volume. 3. The buttons are not good, rubber type and have to press hard in order to dial the number. 4. 3 levels of ringer volume, even the medium level is very high. in the lowest level there is no volumes at all.
