Incorrect Warranty Information
I am writing to express my concern about the warranty information listed for the Lacie hard disk. The product description currently states that the warranty is 5 years, but according to the LaCie website, the warranty is actually 2 years.I believe that this is a significant oversight and could potentially mislead customers. I would appreciate it if you could update the product description to reflect the correct warranty information.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Unfortunately, my laptop doesn’t have type C input port… as only type C to Type C cable came along with it… not USB

Its a great to have 2tb external hdd.
I got the 2TB version on sale and its increasible . Build quality is top notch. Would suggest for storing videos and pic.

As usual, this mobile drive worked right out of the box, no issues.Long Lasting. I have bought about ten LaCie drives over the years and they are good long lasting external drives. When they get older than five years we usually relegate them to our personal computers to be safe, but we’ve never had any LaCie stop working. We use them as backup and also transfer “discs” in our business which handles thousands of images.Easy setup.QUIET!

En mi opinion es un equipo para tenerlo en casa, debido a su estructura (Buena Calidad). Si estas buscando una unidad externa para traerla contigo en todo mometo te recomiendo que busques LaCie Rugged. En mi caso estaba buscando un disco duro para tenerlo en casa y con bastante capacidad para todo lo relacionado con trabajo y famila.Estoy satisfecho con mi compra.

I got fed up with having transformers everywhere for backup drives, so this one that takes USB-C power from the computer was just right, and it performs very well, in keeping with previous LaCie products. Smart design and very portable. Comes with USB-C and USB2 leads so suitable for older computer as well. The packaging was sturdy and this was important for when you keep one off-site. Software that comes with it was not exactly what I needed but the previous more versatile LaCie Genie backup program I had works with it fine.
