Very useful and easy to install
The design of this gate makes it easy to install and is very useful. The only con is that it is not as sturdy as a gate that is fixed to the wall. That is understandable considering how it works. It all depends on whether you are willing to drill holes etc to fix a gate to the wall/staircase. It is still quite sturdy and good enough for me to keep a toddler from climbing the stairs. It is important that you make sure you take measurements of your space and understand how it works so that you can also get the right accessories to help install it properly.

Great product
Using it to barricade the stairs in the house for a toddler. Was skeptical initially reading the reviews but the product is perfect for the purpose its designed for. Easy to install and clicks back to lock everytime its opened. Gives us a moment to catch up to the child who’s happy to run to the stairs.

Good product, bad seller!
The product is really good. But the photos are a little misleading. I wanted a staircase bolt which is shown in the photograph to demonstrate the product’s capability and usefulness. So I ordered the gate but the staircase Bolt was not there. All my questions regarding the availability of the staircase Bolt were not answered by the seller. There is no information as to whether those bolts are ever going to be available or not. Ultimately I had to make some temporary arrangement to attach the gate to the staircase as the safety of the child is important. But this indifference of the seller towards customers questions is really disappointing.
