I recently picked up this 20FT Magnetic Tape with 3M Adhesive Backing for a few home projects, and itâs been surprisingly useful! I wasnât sure how strong the magnets would be, but theyâve definitely exceeded my expectations. The magnetic side works really well for lightweight items, and itâs super easy to cut to whatever size you need. Iâve used it for things like organizing tools in the garage, sticking photos on the fridge, and even some crafting projects. The 3M adhesive backing is awesome tooâit sticks really well to pretty much any surface and hasnât peeled off, even on slightly rougher surfaces like wood or plastic. What I love most is how versatile it is. Iâve used it for small projects, but Iâm sure it would come in handy for bigger tasks too. The fact that itâs 20 feet long gives you plenty of tape to work with, so itâs definitely a great value for the price. If youâre looking for a magnetic tape that actually works and holds up, Iâd totally recommend this one. Itâs simple, sticks strong, and has been a handy solution for all sorts of little tasks around the house!

Admittedly, I haven’t tried using this magnetic tape with anything heavier than a 4.25″ x 5.5″ white board, so I don’t know how it would hold up with something more substantial. For my purposes though, it works well. I have used this on the back of several small white boards to use for moving around words on my board as student form sentences. I have also used it on the back of laminated card stock for various projects around my classroom. It has stayed stuck to the back of all the items I’ve used it for and hasn’t come off in the last few months, which is great considering I live in a particularly dry climate.

I got this to seal thermal curtains to a metal window frame for winter. It’s useless. It will hold a small screw placed directly on it, but there’s no noticeable pull. It will just brush off. Will be returning the roll.

This 3M magnetic tape works as intended. It could use a bit more strength in magnetic force as you need multiple points of attachment for it to hold larger tools and things in place. The adhesive is pretty good. The tape pretty thick at 6mm so keep that in mind for whatever you are intending to use it with. I have used this for our toddlers Tonybox figures to keep them sticking on a toddler house. It works for that purpose. However, if you are using this for more professional purposes, the magnetic force may not be strong enough and you need a thicker tape.

My toddler makes small pieces of artwork. We turn them into fridge magnets by cutting small pieces of adhesive magnet, sticking them on the back, and then laminating them. We prefer to laminate so that theres no risk of our toddler pulling the magnet off and eating it. This is great for variety of projects – I’ll probably use it for some of my dollhouse miniature hobby projects too. Love that it is 3M adhesive.
