This is essential if you want to increase power or connect additional speakers.
This amplifier is a must-have if you’re connecting multiple speakers, as I have, or simply setting up a stereo system. Iâve been using it as a power amplifier for my Atmos speakers in my dedicated home theater. My AVR has pre-outs, so I connected the Fossi amp to the AVR and then to the speakers. Itâs doing an excellent job. Iâve been using it for over 7 or 8 months, and I haven’t experienced any issues. As a driver for Atmos speakers, it easily handles both heavy bass and high frequencies. I have not tested it for stereo listening. Overall, it is great value for the money.

Most useful with P3 preamp
Works superbly with Fosi audio P3 tube pre amp. I wanted to reuse Sony hi-fi systems speakers and it serves the purpose. Now audiio output and quality is better than original Sony system

NOT AUDIOPHILE, BUT GOOD VALUE
Well built.I bought it as a second amp for a new setup . Can deliver adequate power to my ELAC 50 W speakers without any issues. Lacks warmth or fullness. If you are used to hearing on good quality amps, you will certainly feel the difference. But for the price it packs enough punch for a basic setup. No noises.

Fosi V3 power amp Superb alternative to conventional AB amplifier
This is fosi V3 plain stereo power amp.I didn’t go for other BT model from Fosi, because I got blueme HD as a BT receiver..I m a musician and also sound recordist, always given preference to analog audio equipment including Vinyl and Magnetic tapes, until recently shifted apple music..I owned Rotel, Yamaha, Denon,Pioneer almost since 40 years with speaker choices to Jbl, Bose,KEF (VINTAGE), Elac ect….I don’t know how will I react to fosi a Chinese company with Japan, Japan, Japan and German Components inside..I tried only this Power amplifier..At 32v DC I don’t know if it can deliver truly 100 w pc RMS…I DON’T CARE…This is most beautiful sounding amp I HV ever thought for its price to satisfaction ratio..Trust me and go for it keeping your mind and eyes closed..No second thought…Thanks Fosi…Keep it..Today Nov. 2 2024I recently added Fosi Preamp P3 (as P2 not available)This has made it even better sounding system with KEF Cresta 1Paisa Vasool!!!Sunil

Good Amplifier, value for money.
Fantastic small amplifier, Value for money. It requires turning the volume button to high to get reasonable sound, but it is not an issue. I am using it for amplifying the back surround speakers in Dolby Atmos system pairing this with large 9.2 amplifier. Worth the price. I would recommend it.

Nice and clean stereo amplifier
Bought this amp a week before. Buildwise it’s solid and soundwise Very neutral Amplifier. I’m using it with Aiyima DAC A2 and surprised how good the songs are played. One thing I noticed is we need to keep the amp volume knob almost to the end of dial to get the good volume.Noticed today that BT20A Pro version released with additional features. Cost wise both are same and I think BT20A Pro is VFM amplifier among the two.

Sound quality
Very balanced sound without preamp , very crisp and clean sound

Nice sound, but betrays its Chinese origins
The Blue light is eye-piercingly bright. The kind that burns your retina. The space between the output connectors is laughably small, as are the connectors themselves. The RCA sockets are out of spec – all plugs are an extremely tight fit. There is no pre out in spite of the label. It’s basically connected to the RCA sockets. There is some residual voltage on the ungrounded power supply if you use a mains tester on it, but it is below 15VAC and this is not a concern.Other than these niggles, it’s sort of usable. I would have preferred a little more thought being put into the feature set, but I guess there’s a limit to the thoroughness of the design .The sound is very good. I would rate it as a good Class D implementation, very rare in and of itself. For casual video use it is adequate, for stereo music it does the job with some lack of refinement. I connect this to a pair of Usher S-520 and it’s fed from a few different sources, the best being a Benchmark DAC-2. I’m using a 48V Meanwell 200W power supply, opting to not limit the amp with the included brick. The Meanwell also has extremely low measured noise and it’s grounded, so that’s a bonus. For comparison, I was using the Aiyima A08 Pro in this setup (and earlier the A07) and while that had more gain (along with a bunch of other less useful bling), this is definitely a better sounding amplifier. At the ~8k price point, it is worth spending money on. The ZA3 offers very little meaningful uplift and the step down to the Aiyima A07 is not worth the savings (if there are any).

Don’t believe the 300 watt claims of the manufacturer. (I don’t know why they just don’t rate the amp with RMS real world specs). Still the Fosi Audio V3 is an excellent amplifier when paired with the optional 48V power supply, although it increases the cost. With the supplied stock power supply, the amp can deliver about 30 watts of real power and with the 48V power supply it can deliver about 80 watts of unadulterated bliss. The sound is clean with absolutely no hiss. You can tailor the sound by easily replacing the socketed OpAmps inside the amp, just make sure you insert them with the proper polarity. OpAmps can range from several to over a hundred dollars for a set. Better OpAMps can give you better depth and a wider sound stage as well as a mellower sound.Remember this is a no frills amplifier with only pair of inputs, it is basically a volume knob and nothing else. But this is perfect when used as a desktop amplifier to drive a pair of desktop speakers. In this mode of operation, you do not need the optional power supply since most desktop speakers are quite efficient and do not need much power. The 48V provides a more heft to the sound with the added power. It can easily deliver enough power to drive most speakers. With either power supply, the amp seems capable of driving even 4-ohm loads without distortion which most modern amps fail to do.Some Pros:* Cheap but great value* Compact size* Very efficient* Swappable OpAmps* High quality components: Elna capacitors, WIMA Output capacitors, Sumida inductors and NCC CapacitorsSome cons:* Fosi used to supply the amp with the copper volume knob as well as the black one but it is now an added option.* The amp goes to sleep rather quickly after the input signal is cut. It takes about six seconds for it to come alive when signal is restored.* There is only one pair of RCA inputs* No Bluetooth capability* No subwoofer output

I tried the ZA3 first. But I was quite disappointed. It lacked detail, control, dynamics and the bass was a bit boomy. I almost send the V3 back without even trying. I’m happy I took the effort to hook them up, because wow! Big difference in my opinion. So much more control, calmness and detail. More composed. I’ve played them with Dali Spektor 2’s and Mission LX-2’s. The Spektors match better with their more clear and less warm nature. Very good match.I’ve also tried the Aiyima A70, Topping PA5 II, Fosi V3 mono. I like the Fosi Mono the most. It has more control and space vs these Stereo V3, but I liked these better than the other ones. The mono’s also come with auto triggers. So I you have the budget and space (the mono has big power supplies with them), the mono’s are a step up. But at this price this amp is just excellent!I also compared them to an Audiolab 6000A and even though the Audiolab has more finesse, especially in the lows, I really liked the somewhat more punchy character of these Fosi’s with a really pleasant intimate treble the Audiolab’s lack a bit. They offer a great sense of space and black background. And waaaaay smaller and cheaper. Sure, the Audiolab comes with more options, but If you don’t need those …. I think It’s a hard bargain to justify the Audiolab, which is a very acclaimed A/B integrated amplifier at 5x the price. Some negatives too though. No 12V trigger. No auto-on/off. It’s always on, unless you manually turn It off by rotating the knob all the way back. It consumes 3W continuously. It’s not that bad, but still, for me a big reason to go for a different amp. I always forget to turn It off.
