The computer recognizes the monitor with its own name and native configuration which is great. Also I don’t see any display quality loss. (The resolution is also 1900*1080 (1080p))

Use if absolutely needed
The connected monitor will not display the highest possible resolutions. The adapter’s EDID is wonky, which means for 1920×1080 it reports a TV resolution instead of PC capability (which is limited to 1680 x 1050).It’s fine for basic uses (I use it extend displays off an idle DVI port) but you can’t expect good picture quality due to the limited bandwidth of the adapter.
