Upgrade your NVMe SSD
This is a convert adapter only. It does not have any firmware inside. All your SSD performance will not limit by this convert adapter. You can enjoy the maximum performance and capacity with your new SSD.
Easily install
You only need to combine our adapter card with the new hard disk, and replace the previous hard disk with this new combination.
Another option
For some machines with limited internal space, you can choose the short card version.
How To USE
Make sure to install the High Sierra on your old drive, so that a newer firmware is installed that can handle NVME.For your old driver, please do a full backup via Time Machine.Create a High Sierra Installer on a bootable USB stick.Open the MacBook and disconnect the battery while switching out the drive and make sure both adapter and new SSD sit snug.Reconnect the battery before closing the shell.Insert the Installer USB stick from step 2, and press the option key while the machine starts. Finally, once it’s up you can now go to the disk utils to format and install the MAC OS.
Same advice
You are kindly reminded that macOS failed on resume from hibernating with some NVME SSDs of some brands. Have to turn off laptop all the time instead of close the lid and go.Please insert our adapter fully into SSD slot and you must prepare bootable USB disk (see third point) with High Sierra to format M.2 SSD first, it can’t support recover from internet. There are many customers can use it, so we suggest you to try it again if your MAC can’t detect nVME SSD.

WORKS! BUT INSTALLATION IS SKETCHY NOT LIKE IT MENTION HERE IN REVIEWS
For starting it didn’t work as ssd didn’t detected in disk utility in Recovery mode! I Figured out that it need’s to do a PRAM reset in order to work and detect IN DISK UTILITY! CMD+OPTION+P+R after installation in order to erase it. Worked then yeah!Did a internet recovery mode took more than 6 hours to do it!Works with Crucial P3 1TB A1466 2015 modelSUGGESTIONS at least provide a basic screwdriver

I have installed this adapter with Crucial P2 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD in my Late 2014 Mac Mini. It works perfectly well

Really Worked!!
It worked for my Mac air 2016 model but initially the hard disk was not detected . I had to make a bootable high sierra installer usb drive to install that os and then upgraded to the latest one as i am not a techsavvy it took me lot of time to make a bootable usb.

Works as advertised, just check if your SSD is compatible with this contraption
Just go for it. you might need to jam the SSD with some force for first time, But after that pretty much works like the original. (I’ve used it with xpg sx6000 pro on my 2017 macbook air)
