The thickness of the mattress is not 6 inches as it inflates to maximum 5.5 inches, as rightly pointed out by other certified purchase reviewers. How can Emma even sell mattress like this?Quality of fit & finish is economy for the price, nothing German about it.Since this was an addition to the bottom of my king size bed, where only my feet would be laid on it I chose this mattress. When compared to the existing mattress at the top this Emma mattress at the bottom looks & feels cheap & inferior in quality & comfort.Emma mattress being a whole half inch less there is an uneven ridge caused at the joint between the two mattresses.
