Good product at it’s price point.
amazing sound at this price point… keep both the speakers stretched/far away, it will give amazing sound… all 5 stars… bass, treble and clearity, everything is well. of course it won’t sound like sony sa-d40 but yeah, you’ll be amazed with it’s sound quality…

I bought these because of the Edifier name, and because they were dirt cheap. I wasn’t expecting much, but was still very disappointed (at first). Zero bass — not weak, ZERO. I abandoned my plan to use these for a temporary/guest computer after two minutes and tossed them in a box.Months later, my dad needed to borrow some computer speakers, and these were all I had to loan him. He used them for several months. His hearing is poor, so he was turning these up loud. Feeling bad for loaning him lousy ones, I bought him a new set of speakers with a subwoofer some weeks later. When I went over to install the new ones, I happened to hear these little Edifiers first and… they were transformed. Speakers usually benefit from some break-in time, but the difference is usually subtle. Not here! These are still tiny speakers, but now they GOOD tiny speakers. They’re entirely useable for YouTube or video conferencing. Voice is clear, and music – while not impressive – is tolerable. So after break-in, these are very much worth the money. Sadly, right now they seem to be unavailable (March 2022). If Edifier ever sells these again, and you need good basic speakers, these are a great choice if you will be able to break them in. Maybe you can let them play in a box full of pillows for a few days… I don’t know how you’ll do it, but if you can somehow, it will be worth it.For completeness, here are the positives:- Sound decent IF AND ONLY IF you can break them in.- The actual enclosures are understated and look good.- Volume control is smooth and works. At the far left it clicks off and turns off the power. And the negatives:- The white (light gray?) cords on the black speakers is indeed ugly and cheap looking.- There are three cables coming from the right speaker. Link to left speaker; USB for power (only… these are not USB speakers); and 3.5mm audio plug. So the cords are messy-looking.- The two speakers are permanently connected to each other with that ugly wire, a bit over three feet long.- While they look decent, they are not very stable. If you bump them they fall over and roll around on the desk like an egg. If you are rough with the volume control they will scoot around on you. They look like they’d work on their side, but they really don’t.Still worth it, overall. I’d buy them again.

Without any particular computer equipment skill, these speakers were easier to attach than old set and no additional power supply hookup to the AC was necessary. The sound is better than the old larger speakers when they were new and even the headset seems to sound better when I use it late at night. Very good value for the money.

First off, these are like sub $10 speakers so do not expect 7.1 Audiophile grade sound. People do this all the time and are steangely disappointed. You bought a Prius, not a Maybach. That said these little speakers have decent sound and clarity. Not surprisingly little bass. They are powered by any usb port, wall charger or battery pack you can find. Audio input is from a 3.5mm headphone jack. They have a power on/off/volume knob on the front with a headphone jack on the front as well. The speakers themselves have no grilles for protection so think twice before tossing them in a back pack.Overall, pleased with my purchase and it was shipped quickly. Would recommend to anyone looking for inexpensive 2.0 speakers.

I found the output to be pretty loud, definitely way more than you can use at an office desk. Vocal clarity is excellent for Zoom call use. No real complaint about performance, but white cables with black speakers was poor choice.
