A good product with a few disappointments
I bought this product in 2021, This was the only product at that time that had a lan cable support. It worked well for 2 years. On Amazon, sellers are selling this same product as 4G/5G product after 2 years. Customers are reporting that it does not support 5G sim cards. When I got this product 2 years ago, it did not have SMS support. Those who have bought recently have that support. There must be some firmware update to this device but company not providing any kind of customer support.Pros:1. Easy to Use. (After some work arounds and solutions mentioned at the end of the review)2. Almost zero configuration of APN etc. Still you can create your own APN settings.3. LAN cable port.4. Nano sim support5. Dual lights to show activity. Red for coverage, Blue for data connection. Blue one blinks when internet is connected.6. 4G Only, 3G only, 2G only modes that are not even available in smartphones now a days.7. Wifi Range satisfactory for home.8. 5V/12V adapter support. Comes with a rounded pin to provide power supply to it. It can be connected on any mobile charger that has a USB female port.Cons:1. No power Adapter provided. Only Supported voltage provided i.e. 5V or 12 V2. If your own adapter doesn’t provide enough current, the device will keep restarting.3. No SMS support4. No QR code support5. If timezone not set properly(Asia/Kolkata) from settings, your connection will drop continuously.6. No customer care number on website. Very difficult to get help for this device.7. Wifi Hotspot always remains visible. No option to hide it.Problems I faced while using this router and the work arounds:It is not mentioned on packaging regarding how much minimum current is required to run this router?First I had used a 5V 650mA charger. It didnot even power it up. Then I tried to connect to Laptop’s USB 3.0 port. It lighted up but frequently got disconnected. So I decided to ask the experts.After prolonged efforts, I got the customer care number. The executive told me to use 1A to 2A mobile charger to run the router. But warned me to avoid plugging it to 2.8 and above current chargers.Why company don’t provide such important information? Still After introduction of USB Gen2 ports, those ports cant light it up. I have rely on mobile charger only. But that is OK.The device I purchased was not having SMS support. Recently on internet got to know that some devices of same model have SMS support and QR code support also. But mine doesn’t have one. If the same device is being launched with firmware update, old customers have right to ask for updates. There is option in router to update the firmware/ software of router.I have asked for firmware update to their technical team. Haven’t got any response from them yet.While trying to connect too many devices, wifi stopped working. Could’nt find any solution to this problem. So, I stopped it’s wifi hotspot and shared it’s connection to a separate hotspot generation point.Now it is a smooth experience.

Not a true 5G
If you read the description, it is clearly mentioned that it is a 4G router that supports a 5G sim but even with a 5G sim, it will connect to 4G Network only. Further, it is 2.4 and not 5 GHz. So basically they are cunningly adding 5G in Title.
