Used this to extend my HDMI signal out of my Mac mini M2pro so I could connect to an older 27″ LED CinemaDisplay with mini Display port. Worked perfectly. (Note you’ll need an HDMI to mini DisplayPort adapter to make this work).Construction good. Just the right length. You don’t need a fancy braided cable to make this work. This is more than enough. And while I can’t be certain that this was the key, I had some faint lines going top to bottom across the entire display prior to using this cable. Now, with this cable in the chain from computer to display, they’re gone. I can’t guarantee that this cable solved the issue, but they’re gone. The lines are gone–breathing new life into an already old display.

After returning a cheaper hdmi female to male extender, this cable was clearly better quality. Much securer fit to the hdmi cable I needed to extend to, and very secure into my laptop.Absolutely no issues once plugged in, the laptop screen immediately appeared on the TVUnfortunately the HDMI cables into my tv (that is on a wall bracket) are chased with filler into the wall and then come out lower down the wall into a floor cabinet, and would need to redecorate if I wanted to change the existing HDMI cables plugged into the TV to longer onesâ¦â¦so this is a perfect solution.

Several venues I teach at have televisions or projectors with a fixed HDMI cable that is simply too short to reach where I want to position my computer. This is the perfect solution and I now always travel with this extension regardless of whether I am using my projector or not.
