Best Wireless Mouse at this Price
I have been using the Amazon Basics Pro Series 2.4G Wireless Ergonomic Mouse for the past few days, and I must say, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in this price range! The mouse is super comfortable to use, with a good ergonomic design that doesn’t strain your hand even after long hours of use. The build quality is really solid, and the feel of the buttons is smooth. The best feature for me is the multi-device support. I can connect up to 3 devices, and switching between them is really easy. It works flawlessly with my PC, laptop, and even my tablet. The DPI settings are adjustable, and it’s perfect for different tasks – from normal browsing to gaming. The 2400 DPI is more than enough for most tasks.Overall, I highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a budget-friendly, high-quality wireless mouse with multi-device support. At this price, it’s really hard to beat.

Slow movements are not registering
The Mouse has many dpi modes, which are good for personal preferences. It also has good acceleration. It is ergonomic. However, It is not good for AutoCAD or any other software where we want to register small movements for precision. It is very slow in registering or understanding slow movements. It lacks precision. It is difficult to use this mouse for anything where our pointing needs to be precise, not just CAD.As everyone else mentioned, the support is horrific. I think it is just an automated bot reply. Overall, I would suggest avoiding this product and going with reliable brands like Logitec.

Amazon Basics – Wireless Mouse (ABKY-M620): Incorrect description…or else an Okay mouse for price
Make sure to read the description carefully. The descriptions are not correct.Amazon Basics has mentioned 3 designs (variants) and has goofed up with the description. I ordered the Design 1 option. It has no built-in battery, but the description says “The built-in polymer Li-ion battery provides stable performance for up to two weeks on just a 3-4 hour charge.” That is incorrect info. The device comes with a battery compartment for an AA battery cell. That is not a dealbreaker, but for 200/- more you can get the Design 3 rechargeable mouse.BUILD AND FUNCTIONS:If you have used any large-size high-resolution ergonomic mouse previously then you will find this one very light (not great for graphics work) and also not so great in build quality. The ABS plastic is really ‘Basic’. The clicks are silent (that’s nice), the scroll wheel is good, DPI switch works, but you can’t tell if it tracks in the prescribed resolutions (800-2400 DPIs).My device had a small notch coming from the sliding pads at the bottom. Yes! the device is replaceable.Ergonomics is subjective…it all depends on the size of your palm and style of usage unless the overall experience of holding and moving the mouse is uncomfortable. So frankly you need to get used to the device. Buttons (Forward, Back, DPI), and Scroll Wheel are placed nicely. Left and Right-click buttons are something you may have to adjust to with usage.CONNECTIVITY:It has 3 options – BT1, BT2 and 2.4G. It was easy to pair with Bluetooth BT1 & 2 options. The 2.4G is equally easy to establish with the provided USB dongle.Overall – a decent mouse for the price as long as it functions well and serves its purpose. Oh! The country of origin is ‘CHINA’ if that matters to you.

Does the job well and meets my demands. Tip: I raise my right hand (the one I use on the mouse) and twist it clockwise frequently, including while using my left hand, to avoid RSI in my right wrist. RSI (repetative stress injury) has affected me in the past, and this habit avoids it. It slows down keyboard speed, but if RSI is a problem, well worth the few seconds extra it might take you to enter stuff.

I was glad amazon done a “basics” version of the far more expensive Logitech trackball, it’s a shame it has been out of stock for years now

First one I received the tracking was terrible because the bell would get stuck if I moved it in a certain direction so got it replaced and second one worked fine. It’s ergonomic but it can still get to your wrist if you are using it for several hours on end with no break. Takes a while to figure out just how fast you want the cursor to move but once you got that like how you want it in your system settings it’s all good. Works perfectly fine on my MacBook as well.
