My laptop charging works as expected but using both ports reduce fast charging capabilities . Make sure to use the right cable for charging

DO NOT BUY : It will stop working after 7-10 months: Poor Quality
Not a good product. I bought it 10 months ago and now it stopped working. It has only 6 months warranty so can’t be claimed. Now its waste of money for me. I was not expecting such a bad quality product on brand name “amazon basic”. I had another instance, where speaker of this brand stopped working within one year. Overall, amazon basic has poor quality product. I had a trust on its brand but its product does not worth it.

Lighter iteration with USB A and C
This newer version has a two ports: one each of USB C and A. It is lighter, but not noticeably smaller, than the last one.Am able to use both ports simultaneously.Use good quality cables for better better performance.Good value for money. Has only 6 months warranty.

Overheating and unpredictable
Stopped using this after a couple of months. Overheating is a known issue. But more than that, it was the unpredictable changing when two devices were attached simultaneously. One of them would default to slow charging. This could be PD port as well which was supposed to turbo charge the device. As a result it’s take hours to charge. Just gave up even after spending 1.3k on this assuming this will provide quality. Not so.

Value for money
I got this in sale at 1099 which I think is absolutely worth it. With the type c port using the cable provided with my Samsung S23 ultra it charges my phone from 0 to 100% in about 1 hr 10 mins which is good as the phone supports 45w chargingI have not seen any overheating issue with the adapterYes the USB type A port doesn’t support fast charging which is a let down howverr i am using it for my phone which has a type c cable and it does serve the purpose so I am happy

Got this for my brother for his gaming set up at his desk. Great to tuck away in his desk and frequently uses it to charge his gaming controller, phone, portable charger and headset. Great product and he has had no issues.

I bought this to work around the charger built into an iThing charging rack that is no longer reliable. My plan is to eventually cut the bottom off of the rack, and install this charger permanently. In the meantime, I just have it beside the rack, and it works perfectly. Hardly worth the trouble to change. It simultaneously charges my iPad Air, iPad Mini, an iTouch, an Apple Watch, an iPhone, and whichever of the various other Kindles, Fire tablets, remote keyboards, Bluetooth headphones, or the like that happens to need charging at the time. So nice to just leave the watch charger, four Lightning cables, and a micro USB cable plugged in all the time ready to use. Highly recommended!

Like most people, I have multiple devices and and I like to charge them at night so that they are ready for use during the day. I do find it frustrating though to have them charging in different locations because there never seems to be enough wall sockets at one single location (at least not in my home). The solution to my issue was to purchase a charging block and be able to only occupy one outlet but charge multiple devices at the same time.I spent about an hour searching and reading reviews and ultimately I settled on the Amazon Basics 60W 6-Port Multi USB Wall Charger because of the positive reviews I read and the claimed ability of the device to charge multiple devices at the same time but still deliver the power needed to charge from all 6 ports at the same time and do this at a reasonable rate. Truth be told, I was skeptical that this charging block would perform well but I I have to admit that my this is one of the best charging blocks I have owned. As a test, I utilized all 6 ports at one time to see how it would do. My assumption was that the block would fail miserably but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The devices that I used for the test were 2 Samsung S7’s, a IPhone 6, 2 IPad 4 mini’s and a Kindle Paperwhite. To pull the most power as possible for the longest amount of time, I performed the test when all 6 of the devices were below 20% battery life.My findings were that the power rate of charging was just as good if not better than the OEM charger that came with each of the devices. The cell phones were charged in about 90-120min, the IPad mini’s took about 3-3.5hrs and the Kindle was a little less than 2 hours. One important note that was a major concern of mine was the heat the charger created while in operation. During the test, I was very happy to find that the charging block did not get hot and from what I observed it only seemed to increase in temperature a few degrees. To date I have been using the Amazon Basics 60W 6-Port Multi USB Wall Charger for a little over 8 months and it has continued to perform like it did on day 1.The only thing negative that I could provide regarding the charger is the brightness of the blue led light that indicates that the block is plugged in. It is fairly bright and if this is something that you intend on using in your bedroom, you may want to diffuse the light in some manner.
