May not be cheap, but definitely worth the price
I bought this desk mount stand after looking at cheaper stands around â¹ 1,500 – 1,800 price range. Back then this used to be in the â¹ 8,000-8,500 price range, which was exorbitant compared to its price in the US. When it came down to a reasonable price of â¹ 2,899, I bought it immediately and I am so happy with my purchase.I use it to mount my camera to my sit/stand desk for video calls, and I have adjusted the stand so that the camera lens pokes just over my monitor. This is a very good installation location as when I look at other call participants on the screen, it almost looks like I am looking them in the eye. And as I raise or lower my sit/stand desk, the camera remains in exactly the correct relative position (which wouldn’t happen with floor stands). To ensure the safety of my expensive camera, I wanted a good, solid, reliable desk-mount stand. At the price for which I bought this stand, I would say it’s well worth the money. If fact, I am thinking of buying 1 or 2 more if I choose to go with LED light panels to light myself for video calls.

Vijim LS03 (a definite alternate to Elgato master-mount)
I received the product on 3/30/2023, my expectations weren’t really high, but the product received definitely should exceed expectation. I purchased it to mount my Sony A6400 with a Sigma 30mm lens, since I am mounting expensive gears on it, I wanted an Elgato, but for INR 8k, I felt it was over priced, that’s when I came across this product and I was a little skeptical looking at the reviews, but went ahead and purchased it anyway. To talk about the product:**Build quality – it won’t feel cheap at all, it has a really nice smooth matt finish all over, weighs appropriately and the 360 ball head is off very good quality as well**Cost – there are cheaper generic alternatives available, but the length is not adequate and the I doubt the finish would be great**Weight capacity – holds my Sony A6400 with Sigma 30mm fine, no wobbles or any issues there, it should be fine for all the products weighing less than my gear logically**Ball head – great quality, but you can’t replace it with any other head, I am thinking to get a quick release plate for my convenience, this is not a con per-se, but something for individuals who are planning to get this thinking that its removableI will post a long term review soon (hopefully :P)Overall conclusion, go for it and save some money from investing on an Elgato mount, considering the fact I am in India and everything is expensive here when it comes to such gears

Sturdy Stand
I Like that this Stand is Sturdy. You cannot buy this stand in cheaper than this because it is very difficult to find any such stand in market. The price may be little high because of non availability of such product in India. But it is very good stand and I think it is value for money.

Out of all of the variety of streamer/content creator accessory poles i’ve used, the telescopic design of the Vijim def holds up better then others and there is no slack to deal with when adjusting: just lock in the height and be done. No worrying about your device/light sagging or settling once you let go of the pole. Other positives for this baby are the well machined sturdy accesories, and the lo-pro look of the rig, very profeshâ vibe/aesthetic. A godsend on up-desks so you can raise the work surface with no interference from this rig.

I got a Samsung Ark and this beast of a mount clears square over it, with more room to go.it has some basic tilt functionality but nothing dramatic, fits my elgato facecam with ease.Con – The only thing negative I can think of is the dial on the side is not adjustable to where center is. Like the numbers don’t point 0 towards you. This doesnt make any difference in the product functionality unless you have OCD.

Does exactly what I want it to do. I’m using it to hold my projector for D&D dynamic maps on a table.

This is a low profile monopod with a desk clamp, and includes a good ball joint. The result is I can mount a fairly heavy camera/light combo without concern, and without a chunky look. The height that can be achieved is great. I may wind up elevating the light using this stand and use a 2nd stand for the camera, and the 4′ reach will be essential.Highly recommended.

If the base was more adjustable it would be perfect. I have cheaper similar mounts that allow me to expand the clamp with a couple screws, If this had a base like that, this would be perfect. I just run into quite a few situations where the base at it’s widest is just not enough. Other than that, the clamp quality is great, the locking mechanism is easy to use and stays tight. In my situation, it is good, just not ready for prime time
