He is currently supervised by Maajja who is also creating his first upcoming collection in English. “They (Maajja) asked me if I needed to make a tune for Y’all celebration (Maajja’s music festival), and I thought it would be great to accomplish something in Tamil. Arivu and I needed to team up [for some time]; he is just an amazing performer and appa (Santhosh) was attentive to the point of delivering that,” says the singer, who has sung tracks in films like Madras, Irudhi Suttru, Soorarai Potter and the upcoming Jagame Thandhiram.
The music video for ‘Appreciate Enjaami’, shot in the old quarter of Arivu in the Tiruvannamalai region, is the “every first”. Dhee, 22, was recorded on camera for a free track. As a rule, the artist shy in front of the camera was anxious.
