So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Every week we review a handful of new albums (from all genres), round up even more new music we’d call “indie” and talk about what metal comes out. We post music news, track premieres and more all day. We are updating a weekly playlist of some of our current favorite tracks. Here is a daily summary with a bunch of interesting and recently released songs in one place.

WAAJEED – “MOTOR CITY MADNESS”

Detroit veteran producer (and J Dilla affiliate) Waajeed has announced a new album, Memoirs of Hi-Tech Jazzdue November 25 via Tresor, and here’s the upbeat mix of lead single “Motor City Madness.”

LOUIS COLE – “I’M TIGHT”

Louis Cole has a new album, Quality over opinionwhich will arrive October 14 via Brainfeeder, and new single “I’m Tight” is a hypnotic seven-minute dose of hard-hitting electronic pop.

DJ FLORENTINO – “CONSTRICTOR” (ft. BAMBII & KD ONE)

Manchester producer DJ Florentino has signed with XL, and his debut single for the label is the dancehall-infused “Constrictor” featuring guest vocalists Bambii and KD One.

JULIA JACKLIN – “BE CAREFUL WITH YOURSELF”

Julia Jacklin’s new album PRE PLEASURE comes out this Friday (pre-order on white vinyl), and ahead of its release, she shared one final single, the dreamy and vulnerable “Be Careful With Yourself.”

INTENSIVE CARE – “INCISORIAL”

Intensive Care has shared the second single from their upcoming album That we are made worthy (due September 23 via Closed Casket Activities), and it’s a brutal dose of Godflesh-y industrial electronics.

UN VULTURE WAKE – “THE SHADOW OF A COMMON FEAR”

A Vulture Wake (which is fronted by former ALL vocalist Chad Price) will follow this year Kingdom EP with another EP, Animalon September 9 via Thousand Island Records, then compiling them both for the An.Animal.Kingdom LP on November 11. New single “Shadow Of A Common Fear” finds AVW toning down their punk attack in favor of something a little slower.

VIRGIN MOTHER – “I NEVER FELT ANYTHING”

Virgin Mother’s plans to release three EPs and an album this year continue with the Mourning ritual LP, due October 14th, and here is the very loud first single. Band leader Seb Alvarez (also on meth) says, “It’s a short analysis of myself during a mental spiral (a recurring theme throughout this record). TIM BURGESS (THE CHARLATANS) – “SURE ENOUGH”

MATT KIVEL – “BLACKS”

Johanna Warren’s new album Lessons for mutants comes out in October on Wax Nine, and the latest single is the grungy “Piscean Lover”.

TENCI – “TWO CUPS”

Chicago-based band Tenci have announced a new album, A flooded river, an overflowing wellwhich will be released on November 4 via Keeled Scales, and shared a new single, “Two Cups”, which has a sharp rock edge to its folk heart.

BREAD ARCHERS – “SHOUTING UNDER COVER”

ECHO CHAMBER OF MELODY – “UNFOLD”
